Attorney Chad Mooney is a talented litigator who works with personal injury and class action or mass torts cases at Cates Mahoney, LLC, including lawsuits involving dangerous prescription drugs and defective medical devices.
Chad has always valued serving community and other people, and chose to put those values to work as a trial lawyer representing plaintiffs. Chad relishes his role as a voice for people who have been injured or suffered harm because of the actions of other people or corporations. He fights to see that his clients get their day in court and get just compensation for their losses.
He is especially passionate about using the law to hold pharmaceutical companies accountable for wrongful conduct, such as failing to ensure that medications are safe when marketed to consumers, or for misrepresenting adverse side effects of a drug.
Chad is a Belleville native who also lived in Southern California as a young man before returning to the St. Louis area for college. He attended law school at Ohio Northern University, but again returned to his hometown to practice law.
Chad joined Cates Mahoney, LLC in 2012, where he has been part of the trial team that won settlements of $1 million or more.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys staying fit and spending time with family.
